When you turn your property over to us:

• We require the following keys and door locks:
• One set is for our back office, and two sets are for the tenants.

• We require all exterior entry doors to have Re-Keyable "Kwikset SmartKey" Locks

  • To make rekeying locks quicker and less expensive now and in the future and to ensure your property conforms to our key management system. This makes it easier for our team, vendors, and field techs to access the property without returning to our office to pick up keys. It also ensures security and compliance for your property and tenants.
  • If you don't have them already, our team will install them.
  • Hardware and Installation costs range between $100-$300/exterior door depending on model (Eg: Key Only vs Keypad)

• Please label all of the above items correctly. It is inefficient and time-consuming to sort through miscellaneous unlabeled keys to figure out what goes where.

• If any of these items are missing when the Owner turns the property over to TouchPoint, we will obtain or create them at the Owner's expense. This expense includes the cost of service and parts.

• Please mail or drop the above items in our front door mail slot. Put all in a labeled envelope or baggie with the property address before dropping in our drop slot or mailing to us.

When a property goes vacant:

• We will rekey or change exterior door locks to reduce liability and ensure your property is secure.
• To reduce future rekeying costs, we require only Re-Keyable Kwikset SmartKey Locks for entry doors. If you already have Kwikset Locks, we will simply rekey them.
• We will provide replacement remotes and locks at hardware store costs plus any applicable installation fee.
• At Move-Out, If the tenant doesnt return all the keys/Fobs/Remotes provided at Move-In, we charge the tenant for replacement costs.
